In conjunction with C. Raymond Hunt Associates and our manufacturing production team, HBI is developing a variety of new models, one of which is the 35 foot diesel-jet drive boat designed specifically to support SCUBA and other active water- based sports.

The 35 diesel-jet is built to a very high level of fit and finish and employs state of the art composite construction methods. Designed to support diving and water sports activities, the layout includes storage for diving tanks, regulators, and other diving gear as well as seating designed specifically for putting on and taking off diving gear. The engine box is oriented to allow a flush deck pass around for walking at one level throughout the boat. The forward seating is built around a comfortable settee and coffee table arrangement.

The base model includes an elegant T-Top and large console with private head. Decks are genuine teak with non-skid Awlgrip available as a no cost option. All hardware is of stainless steel. Substantial customization of the layout is possible to meet specific needs.

The current configuration, shown here, employs a Volvo D6 power plant mated with an Ultra jet drive to provide ease of handling, quiet operation and the best of performance. Steering can be specified as either Joystick or the traditional wheel. Yanmar power and Hamilton jet drive with Blue Arrow control system is optional.
